What Are The Trim Levels On The Rav4 Hybrid?

Next, we'll discuss these trim levels in depth.

LE

The LE trim is the lowest level for the Rav4. Do not let this fool you; the 2020 LE is a fantastic vehicle that starts at just $25,950. You can choose between a front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The LE includes a touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a backup camera, and much more. Not only is the LE a great vehicle, but it is also the most affordable.

LE Hybrid

The LE Hybrid is similar to the LE is almost every way when it comes to the design and features. However, the Hybrid is outfitted with Toyota's incredible hybrid powertrain which seamlessly switches back and forth between the engine and the hybrid battery for power. This allows for the LE Hybrid to achieve 43 miles per gallon in the city and 44 on the highway compared to the LE trim level, which sits at 27/35. The LE Hybrid starts at $28,350.

XLE

When Toyota creates a new trim level by placing an "X" in front of another level, usually they are making a higher-end version of the other model. The XLE is no different. Toyota takes all the elements of the LE trim level and adds much more in the XLE. On the interior, the XLE adds a bigger touch screen and 8-way power-adjustable seats. Along with a few more interior touches, the XLE also has blind-spot monitors and a smart key system. This trim level starts at $27,245.

XLE Hybrid

This trim level takes the best of the XLE and the Hybrid and combines the two. While it is the most expensive thus far, starting at $29,645, it is well worth the price if you love the hybrid system and are looking for more bells and whistles.

XLE Premium

Toyota's Premium trim level once again adds more features and tech to the Rav4. The XLE Premium is a luxurious vehicle with leather seats, JBL speakers, a moonroof, as well as all the other features included in the XLE. The specs are the same for the Premium trim level, as most of the upgrades are found inside the vehicle.

Adventure

The Adventure trim is meant for exactly what it sounds like: adventures. With bigger wheels, unique colors, heated exterior mirrors, and more, this trim is both luxurious and capable. The Adventure trim can also include a power moonroof and higher quality exterior features such as back-window windshield wipers. This trim level also comes standard with AWD.

TRD Off-Road

The TRD Off-Road is the ultimate Rav4 when it comes to driving in harsh terrain. This trim level comes standard with its dynamic AWD but sticks with a 2.5L engine like the rest of the models. The TRD shines when it comes to design. It has custom colors you can choose from for the exterior, and it comes with a black leather interior with TRD embroidered badging on the seats.

The TRD has a digital and physical gauge cluster as well as a push to start ignition that comes standard in the higher trim levels. These additions are not without costs, as you can expect to pay a few thousand more per trim level that you move up. This one in particular starts at $35,280.

XSE Hybrid

The XSE comes equipped with a few new touches such as softer seat fabrics, heated seats, and leather accents on the steering wheel and other places. Of course, the XSE is also a hybrid which means it will achieve a much better MPG average than the other non-hybrid trims. It is a good balance between high-end luxury and a hybrid powertrain without going over a $35,000 budget.

Limited

Toyota's infamous "Limited" trim has been their go-to name for their highest-end trim level. The Limited trim spares no expense on luxury and is equipped with a plethora of features and technology. For starters, you can expect everything you've seen in lower models to be in the Limited trim and then some.

It has high-end leather seats that are also cooled. You get a backup camera as well as a birds-eye view camera. Everything is wrapped in more premium textures and fabrics, making the car feel extremely luxurious. You are able to have all of this for just under $35,000.

Limited Hybrid

Finally, the Limited Hybrid trim combines the hybrid drivetrain with the best possible features. This comes at the highest price point but is well worth it if you are looking to have a hybrid as your daily driver. While there are no differences compared to the Limited in terms of new additions, you can expect all the incredible technology found in the Limited to be in the hybrid as well.
