Hello, i recently purchased an aliner classic to tow behind my 2019 ford escape. I bought the upgraded escape with towing package rated for 3500 lbs. the camper gvwr is 2100 lbs and i had no gear in it. I had spoken with a neighbour with a similar set up who says she hardly notices the camper. My car shudders significantly when accelerating or driving on uneven pavement. Any ideas? Thanks

To better assist you with this situation, can you describe in more detail this shuddering when towing? Is it a mechanical shuddering or a physical shuddering of the tow vehicle/camper? It’s normal to experience a bucking feeling when towing over uneven pavement. This is especially common when driving over bumps or potholes.
