Making sure the Jeep Gladiator will fit

Do you want to make sure that the Jeep Gladiator will fit into your garage? Don't be wary of the overall length of this pickup truck, especially if you have a garage that was built in the modern era. There will also be plenty of room to safely park this vehicle in a standard parking stall, with room to spare.

The standard dimensions that garages are built to are more than adequate for the new Jeep Gladiator. Garages must be a minimum of 20 feet deep, 12 feet long, and seven feet high. In addition, the garage door should be 9 feet wide.

Keep in mind that these dimensions are for a single-car garage. Multi-car garages would have the same depth and height but would be much wider.

No matter what you are parking in your garage, it's recommended to have at least 2 feet, 8 inches clearance from each side of the vehicle to the sidewalls. So if your garage space is also used for storage or a work area, keep those measurements in mind.

Overall, this pickup truck has 35.5 cubic feet of storage space available in its bed. While the cargo bed is noticeably smaller than those of full-size pickup trucks, you'll still find that the Gladiator is capable of carrying a good amount of cargo.

Is the Jeep Gladiator bigger than the Wrangler?

If you are also considering the Jeep Wrangler, familiarizing yourself with this vehicle's overall measurements is an excellent start in seeing if it is the right fit for the space you have available. If you are concerned about the Wrangler not fitting into the space you know is large enough for the Gladiator, you need not worry. The Jeep Wrangler is overall much smaller in dimensions than the Jeep Gladiator.

But knowing the Wrangler's measurements will still help determine how much room it will take up in your garage. Garages are, after all, used for more than just parking a vehicle. Garages are also great storage areas and workspaces. Knowing if the Wrangler will still allow for these other garage uses to take place is helpful information.

The Wrangler only slightly varies in its dimensions between trim levels. It has a range of 166.8 to 188.4 inches in length, a standard width of 73.8 inches, and a range of 73.6 to 74.5 inches in height.

Manufacturers might place smaller engines in the mid-sized models, but those models are lighter and don't require the same horsepower or torque to get up to speed.
