When searching for a vehicle, one deciding factor if you are going to buy a vehicle will be the price. Vehicles will have different prices depending on their trim. Also, purchasing a car from a different dealer can affect its price.

Here is a list of the 2022 Mazda CX-5 with their starting prices:

  • Mazda CX-5 2.5 S - $25,900
  • Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Select - $27,900
  • Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Preferred - $29,600
  • Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Carbon - $30,720
  • Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Premium - $32,310

  • Mazda CX-5 2.5 Turbo Signature - $38,640

The price difference of the Mazda CX-5 is because of the features that the higher trims offer. Do The CX-5 Hold Their Value

The Mazda CX-5 depreciates quite a bit throughout the years, don't expect that your vehicle will still sell close to its original price after a few years. Only special edition trims and models typically hold some value.

Depreciation is the difference between the original sale's price and what the vehicle will be worth in the future. A Mazda CX-5 will depreciate in value about $14,000 after five years.

Every trim of the Mazda CX-5 will depreciate about 45%, but that is only if it's in good condition. Having a vehicle that's in bad condition will greatly decrease its value, and if you have a vehicle that is in excellent condition, you will have less than the 45% depreciation rate.

Bringing your vehicle to a service center or a mechanic shop can ensure that your car is running in its optimal condition. Also, having your vehicle regularly serviced can avoid any permanent damage since all your parts and fluids are kept up to date.

The Mazda 2.5 Turbo and Turbo Signature will have the highest resale value after a few years since they are the Mazda CX-5's highest trim and have a turbocharged engine. These are some factors that indicate that a vehicle is a premium unit.

Can You Take The Mazda CX-5 On Long Trips

You have a passenger volume of 103.6 cubic feet and a cargo space of 30.9 cubic feet. That is enough to fit five people and carry their luggage altogether.

You also get a decent fuel economy with the CX-5. You will get 24 MPG in the city, 30 MPG on the highway, and 26 MPG combined. The driving range of the CX-5 is 367.20 miles in the city and 459.00 on the highway.

The type of fuel needed to fill the tank is regular gas. This will help keep the cost down since driving with premium fuel can get a bit pricy.

Whether you'll be traveling on a hot summer day or in winter, the CX-5's air condition and the heater has got you covered. The CX-5 has a sunroof in which you can let air and natural light in while you have heated front and rear seats for colder temperatures.
